Dear Book Friends,
Today is Great Poetry Reading Day, and as a long time Star Trek fan (who could have guessed that, right?), I have to share one of my joys is listening to Sir Patrick Stewart read Shakespeare’s sonnets. He started during the pandemic and it was so lovely:
As an old literature major, I do enjoy Shakespeare, but I’ve never developed a taste for his sonnets until now.
What’s some poetry or other stories that you never thought you’d develop a taste for until X happened?
Mia and my little book baby, ReVamping the Librarian is out on retailers now (both in ebook and paperback editions). We wrote this a while ago and hadn’t been giving it the love it deserved, so this surprise release and the resulting fanfare has been lovely. In fact, we already started on the next book, ReVamping the … (I’ve got to keep some secrets, don’t I?)
Bespelled is also out on Amazon only (for the next few months). You can read it in Kindle Unlimited if that’s your jam, or buy from Amazon. I will be releasing this one wide (at all retailers) after the KU term is up. I am tempted to do a whole gargoyle series, as I do love the wings, but the next book in this series is in Resting Witch Face anthology (coming this fall) and involves a werewolf.
Happy reading,
Cali

I let Mila run from me once. Now she’s back—right when all hell breaks loose in the Syndicate.
Yeah, I’m suspicious. I know she’s keeping secrets from me.

Bound to me by a blood oath that only I can break.
I’ll never let her leave.
A dark vampire mafia romance.
