Dear Book Friends,
Happy August. It’s still hot, but at least my cold is gone. And my favorite music group is streaming a concert tomorrow. So that’s fun.
The stores are full of back-to-school items. I don’t know if it's the writer in me or what, but I love paper, notebooks, pens, calendars. Don’t ever let me loose in a stationery store; I’m dangerous.
And probably cause I write academy, I love a good school story. I’ve been fooling around with revamping an old story into an academy one these days. I can’t decide if it's better to rewrite or to start fresh. Those of you who have been with me for a long time, will remember Max and her mythological shifters. The prison setting just never sat right with me, but I think the characters have potential. (Do let me know if you have opinions.) Anyway, I’m playing around with revamping book one, and then I’ll see if its worth doing the rest of the series.
